The path towards the Blackhawks’ hopeful emergence from the dungeon of the NHL standings was revealed on Tuesday morning as the league released the full schedule for the 2024-25 NHL regular season.
The primary highlight for the Blackhawks’ schedule is a plethora of home cooking on the weekends. Chicago will play six home games on Fridays, five on Saturdays and 10 on Sundays for a total of 21 weekend gatherings at the United Center.
Additional highlights include a season opener against the Utah Hockey Club for that franchise’s first game since relocating from Arizona, the Winter Classic’s return to Wrigley Field on Dec. 31 against the St. Louis Blues as part of a five-game homestand and a five-game road trip in late October and early November.
